1996 etching/aquatint that is 7.5" x 7 5" with a matted size of 12" x 12". It is a limited edition print #19/145 created by Ann Zahn. This is an original print from a calendar from the Torpedo Factory in Alexandria, VA. In 1979 a group of Washington DC area printmakers came together to create a small edition of original prints in calendar format. Many artists nationally and internationally contributed their original print editions to these yearly calendars. The calendars are housed in the archives of the Cocoran Gallery of Art in Washington, DC and are included in the collections of the National Gallery of Women in the Arts, The National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution, and The Library of Congress. Many of these prints are also for sale in online galleries that specialize in 19th to 21st century fine prints.
