Description: 1883. First edition. Hardcover, square 8vo. in brown leather with gilt title, gilt edges. 122pp. engraved frontis of the Brooklyn Bridge. Light wear to corners, top and bottom of spine. Tissue covering of frontis somewhat frayed, see picture #5. Some even age toning/browning on pages. Contents are complete in a good binding it should be rebound the strings feel a little loose . I have handled the book very carefully because the binding is so old . The pages are not stained just browsing from age. It looks as if this book was purchased and put safely away .
